Special Registration Option for Educators

Attention NJ Educators

Because new Department of Education regulations restrict many school districts from paying for food and hotel, we are offering separate registration options for teachers seeking support from their districts. The following packages are for educators whose school district will pay for some or all of the registration fees, by purchase order or reimbursement.

If this does not apply to you, please return to the regular registration page.

Tuition for NJ Educators Option  —  $350   ***Held at last year's price!***

Includes workshops* (totaling 17 hours of professional development credit) and afternoon activities. Does not include meals or housing, as per DOE guidelines.

*The following workshops have a surcharge of $75:
     ● Finishing Your Novel
     ● Visions and Revision
     ● Poetry Manuscript Workshop
     ● Poetry Chapbook Workshop
     ● Advanced Poetry Writing with Stephen Dunn (1 session)
     ● Advanced Poetry Writing with Dorianne Laux (1 session)
     ● Advanced Poetry Writing with Patricia Smith (1 session)

Tutorials in poetry or prose may be purchased for:
     Poetry Tutorial  —  $75
     Prose Tutorial  —  $100

NJ Educator Meal & Hotel Package Options

You must choose one of the following meal or hotel packages which you can pay for with a personal check.

Educator Hotel Packages

Includes 3 nights accommodation with breakfast & lunch and Friday & Sunday night receptions. Dinners are not included.

Double Room (Educator option)  —  $285
Single Room (Educator option)  —  $445
Shared Room (With non-participating guest) (Educator option)  —  $590**
   **Includes 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches & evening receptions for non-participating spouse, partner or guest.

Or if you prefer to commute, you can choose:
Educator Commuter Meal Package

Includes 2 lunches and Friday & Sunday night receptions  —  $35

The Fine Print remains the same whether you choose the Educator or the Standard option.
