The
Winter Poetry & Prose Getaway does not have an application
process; everyone is welcome. We believe that every writer,
whether they are just getting started or already have an MFA and
publications, can improve their craft with rigorous instruction
and a supportive community. Experienced writers are encouraged
to register for workshops with advanced sections."The Winter Getaway was exactly what I needed to recharge as

Extending your Getaway
The hotel will offer a special reduced rate for Getaway
participants for several nights before and after the event.
The best thing to do is register for the Getaway now and
add-on your extra nights later. We will send details to registered
participants on how to book them in late December or early January. The
rate for extra nights for the 2013 Getaway will be $90/night plus taxes and
fees (single or double occupancy, no meals included) and will enable
you to stay in the same room throughout your whole visit.

Nov. 21-Dec. 10 — 50% of total refunded

Dec. 11-31 — 50% credit for future Getaway
● Jan. 1 or after — Sorry, no refund will be issued

Interested in a workshop or room package that's already
full? Please call 609-823-5076 and tell us your name,
phone number, email, and room (or workshop) preference. In
the event of a Cancellation, we will notify the person at the
top of the list. In the meantime, you are welcome to register as
a commuter and arrange for your own accommodation. Absecon is
the nearest town to search for hotels.
Note: The same

registrants whether they are on the wait list or not.

- Earn Professional Development Credit
Many educators are sponsored or reimbursed by their school districts and
colleges for this multicultural, professional development activity. Teachers
will earn 18 hours of professional development credit. Purchase orders
